Disassembly and inspection steps:

(1) Remove the water inlet pipe and fixing screw of the water pump, and remove the water pump from the gear housing.

(2) Remove the water inlet flange, unscrew the impeller cap with tools, and fix the water pump gear during disassembly.

(3) Remove the water pump impeller with a water pump impeller scraper.

(4) Unscrew the fastening bolts between the shaft frame and the pump body, and remove the shaft frame and other parts.

(5) Remove the circlip for the hole at the outer end of the shaft frame and replace it by the impeller - At the end, press out the water pump shaft together with the bearing with a press, and the gear can also be taken out

(6) Clean the removed parts with cleaning solution.

(7) Check the pump impeller and the inner cavity of the pump housing for corrosion. If there is serious corrosion, replace it with a new one.

(8) Check the corrosion and wear of the mating surfaces of the dynamic and static rings of the water seal, whether the spring is rusted, whether the rubber sheath is aged and damaged, replace a new part if necessary, and check whether the oil seal is cracked and aged.

(9) Reassemble according to the reverse procedure above.
